Andalucía is an ideal destination for a golfing holiday and there are several golf courses to choose from in the Granada area. Even in the winter, the days are usually sunny and pleasant, making golfing enjoyable all year round. There are two golf courses just outside the city of Granada - Santa Clara and Granada Club de Golf. There is a third course on the coast, directly south of Granada near Motril - Los Moriscos - and a fourth course to the north of Granada, close to Granada airport - Medina Elvira. One of our villas, Villa Veleta, situated on the edge of Granada, offers tailor-made golf packages for weekend/mid-week or longer stays. Santa Clara Golf Granada

This is a new course that opened in 2006 and the whole project was designed to respect the flora and fauna of the local environment, in order to create a fantastic place for golfers to meet and enjoy not only the golf, but the surrounding landscape. With the Sierra Nevada mountain range as a backdrop, the location is stunning.
The course design focuses on a combination of large greens and many different obstacles, thus encouraging a wide range of moves and shots that will appeal to all handicaps. It is a challenging course that will certainly provide you with a stimulating round of golf. The Club House offers excellent facilities and is the perfect place to relax after your game. It offers a heated indoor pool, spa, gym, outdoor pools and restaurant, with use of the facilities included in the green fee.

Granada Club de Golf

This course lies between the fertile plain around Granada and the drier mountains behind it, and the views from the course are impressive - extending over Granada and to the Sierra Nevada beyond. The course is built on a hill and the fairways follow the natural slope of the course. Each of the 18 holes has a different layout. At the 10th hole - a 210 metre, par 3 - golfers have to tee off from on high and reach a green surrounded by strategically-placed bunkers, which is a real challenge.
There is also a practice area, along with a putting and chipping green. The club house has a restaurant and outdoor swimming pool.

Los Moriscos

This newly-designed course lies on the shore of the Mediterranean. What better place to enjoy a round of golf? Wide fairways, running across virtually flat countryside, make it the ideal course for all golfers.
While going from hole to hole, you'll be surrounded by tropical palms and wide artificial lakes, set against the magnificent backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
