Casa Las Flores is a beautiful finca located in Sortes, just above Órgiva in the heart of La Alpujarra in Andalusia, southern Spain. It is a terraced villa built in the traditional Alpujarran style, consisting of 3 separate air-conditioned and centrally heated apartments and two swimming pools. The views are stunning; to the south over the town of Órgiva and the Sierra de Lújar down to the Mediterranean; to the north and east towards La Alpujarra and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The property is situated at the end of a short drive off the main scenic road between Órgiva and the famous pueblo blanco white villages of Bubión and Capileira in the Sierra Nevada National Park. It is about 5 minutes’ drive from the main town of Órgiva, where there are full amenities, such as supermarkets, shops, banks, tapas bars, restaurants, and a 24 hour emergency centre.

Casa Las Flores is built on the hillside and is divided into 4 self-contained apartments. Casita Rosa is the largest apartment and is located on the third level down. It has parking adjacent to it and is accessed from its main, partially covered, terrace that overlooks the mountains to the south.

The private entrance leads into a spacious main living room with an open fireplace and a television. This leads off into a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, etc.

The large master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a single bed and a built-in wardrobe; bedroom 2 has a double bed and a single bed, and bedroom 3 has two single beds and a free-standing wardrobe.

There are 2 bathrooms. One has a bath with shower and a bidet and the second has a shower with toilet.

The partially covered front terrace with eating area and barbeque has commanding southern views over Órgiva and the surrounding mountains. This is the ideal place to sunbathe during the day or eat out and relax in the evening and enjoy the colours cast by the setting sun.

Adjacent to the terrace is the large shared swimming pool area (shared with two other apartments, Casita Buganvilla and Casita Geranio) which has stunning views to the south and east. There is a central laundry with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

There are gardens surrounding the villa which include fig (edible), orange, plum, apple, olive, almond, palm and cypress trees, along with a wide variety of flowering plants and shrubs.

Property Pricing

LOW SEASON: January - April , October - December (excluding Easter, Christmas and New Year.
HIGH SEASON: May - September & Spanish Bank Holidays

Minimum Stay - July & August 1 week; rest of year 3 days
A deposit of 40% will be required to confirm the reservation; the balance is due 10 weeks before you arrive.

The owners will also require a 100€ refundable deposit for damages and this will be returned in full, upon departure, provided that there are no damages.
