Cortijo Las Palmeras is a rural detached cottage, set in its own fully enclosed grounds, providing total privacy and spectacular views.

It is situated 3km from the Barranco del Poqueira, one of the most visited areas of the Alpujarras and home to the 3 white villages of Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira. This is a very beautiful and peaceful area which is ideal for exploring either on foot or by car. It is the perfect location if you are looking to disconnect from the pressures of daily life and relax in wonderful natural surroundings.

The house is spacious and boasts a large garden with fruit trees, palms and flowers, and a good-sized private pool, all fully enclosed by fences and hedges and with amazing views of the mountains and even to the sea beyond. In fact on a clear day you can even make out the mountains of Africa in the distance.

The 3 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, all with windows opening out onto the garden, with shutters and mosquito netting. There is a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with a double and a single bed, and a third bedroom with two single beds. The family bathroom has a bath and overhead shower, and there is also a separate WC.

The living area has 3 sofas and a fireplace, making it cozy in the winter months, with TV with Satellite channels and DVD player. There is also a CD/Radio and Wifi internet access. The dining area has a large table with seating for up to 8 people, and opens up onto the outside terrace, which is also equipped with table and chairs and where you can enjoy the wonderful mountain views as you eat.

The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle etc. There is also a washing machine and iron. The kitchen door leads onto another terrace area with stone barbecue and a further table for outdoor eating and cooking. The garden has lighting in the entrance and BBQ areas so it can be enjoyed by day or night.

The swimming pool has a stone terrace around it with sunbeds and parasol, as well as a shaded area. It measures 10m by 4m with the depth ranging from 1m to 2.2m, it has an outdoor shower and there is lighting for those night-time dips. The pool is available from 1 May to 31 October.

Private parking for 2 or 3 cars is available within the gates to the villa. Please note that the top floor of the house is not open for guests.

A deposit of 40% will be required to confirm the reservation; the balance is due 10 weeks before you arrive.
