This Cortijo is a small complex owned by a delightful Spanish family. It is very private and set in a lovely valley on the edge of the small village of Bayacas, which has a history going back to when the Moors were in the South of Spain.

Cortijo Los Bancales consists of 3 charming self-catering casitas (cottages) set in the beautiful private grounds of a Spanish owned house which is totally enclosed with private gardens. There is a small swimming pool on the roof terrace and a larger pool which is available in the summer months, both with lovely views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. There are private patios for each casita, barbecues and garden furniture.

The garden is safe for children, and there is enclosed private parking. The Casitas are all on one level except for the communal laundry room, roof terrace and pools. One of the casitas has a bathroom that is suitable for disabled use.

There is also a large room with fireplace and television where groups or families can be together.

Two of the casitas have a twin bedroom, bathroom and living/dining area plus kitchen. The third house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and living/dining area plus kitchen. Each house also has a double sofa-bed that can be used. The casitas can be rented individually or by one large group.

The views from the property down to the coast are spectacular and there is easy access to the mountain villages and the Sierra Nevada National Park. The market town of Órigva with its shops, bars and restaurants is just a 10 minute drive away and the beaches of the Costa Tropical can be reached in around 40 minutes, and the city of Granada with its famous Alhambra Palace is less than an hour away too.

Property Pricing

Price for use of whole complex.(Prices for use of individual casitas available upon request).

High Season: July & August, Easter, Christmas, New Year & Spanish Bank Holidays
Mid Season: April - June, September & October
Low Season: January - March, November & December

A deposit of 40% will be required to confirm the reservation; the balance is due 10 weeks before you arrive.

The owners will also require a 200€ refundable deposit for damages and this will be returned in full, upon departure, provided that there are no damages.

Pets are not permitted.
