Villa Veleta | La Zubia | Granada

This large family villa is set up on the edge of the mountains just outside Granada. This fabulous location means that you have all the space and peace and quiet you could want, whilst also being just 5 minutes' drive from the nearest village with its shops, bars and restaurants, and only 15 minutes’ drive into the centre of Granada.

The coast can be reached in under an hour by car, and it is only 45 minutes’ drive to the Sierra Nevada ski station. Numerous walks and hikes into the surrounding mountains are available virtually on your doorstep, and you are only a 15 minute drive from Spain’s most visited monument, the Alhambra Palace.

The villa itself has 5 bedrooms – two doubles, one twin, one with bunk beds and a further bedroom with sofa-bed. Additional guests can be accommodated using the double sofa bed in the living room, an additional single bed off the master bedroom and the travel cot. There are 3 bathrooms, including an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom with Jacuzzi bath.

Outside there is a large patio garden with views to Granada and the surrounding villages. There is also a private swimming pool, sunloungers, patio furniture, and various pieces of sports equipment such as a trampoline, basketball net, table tennis and pool table.

The villa is very well equipped with under floor heating and air-conditioning, and the kitchen contains all the appliances you might need such as dish washer, fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, washing machine and grill. In the lounge there is satellite TV (English channels), DVD and CD player. There is also a lift in the villa and internet access.

Meals can be catered for at a small additional charge - there is an English couple who have self-contained quarters in the lower level of the villa who are there to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Other additional services include meet and greet at airport, taxi service (up to 6 people per trip), babysitting, cleaning, laundry and ironing service. The villa is ideal for families or the elderly/infirm who want to be looked after. Strictly a non smoking, no pet villa.

Property Pricing

Price per property per week

Prices are for up to 10 people. Extra people cost £40 or 50€ each per week, or £20 or 25€ each per night for short breaks.

A 40% deposit will be required to confirm the reservation; the balance is due 10 weeks before you arrive.

The owners will also require a £350 refundable deposit for damages, this will be returned in full, after your stay, provided that there are no damages.
